Mustangs vs Corvettes: Everybody Wins!

It seems like it might be a tossup when it comes to deciding whether a Mustang is faster than a Corvette, if we’re to base things on the video below. Sure, we know that the more logical contender for the Ford pony car is a Chevy Camaro, but we still find this clip pretty interesting.

Then again, this is just further confirmation that figuring out which car is faster actually comes down to the model, as captured in the BigKleib34 video that shows a pair of Mustangs and a pair of Corvettes slugging it out on a runaway.

In the first race, a Shelby GT500 goes head to head with a Supervettes Z06 and shoots away from the ‘Vette in the run. In the second race, a Mustang 5.0 finds itself getting blown out by a different Z06.

Of course, the 5.0 was probably a bit out of its league against the ‘Vette it was paired against. So a more fitting finale would have been a match-up between it and the Shelby GT500, which likely would have yielded a different outcome.
