Next-Gen Mustang Mach 1 Rendering Unleashed

We’re sure with the recent leak of what’s believed to be an actual photo of the 2015 Ford Mustang most figured we were all done sharing renderings of the car.

Well, not exactly.

A new one has surfaced depicting a Mach 1 version of the next generation Mustang done by Top Speed based on speculations that Ford plans to reintroduce the nameplate to the line-up.

We learned a week ago of plans to bring back the Mach 1 after a story broke that Ford Motor Co. had applied for a new trademark for the name.

First introduced as a higher performance 1969 model, we’ve certainly been excited here at “The Mustang Source” about the possible return of the Mach 1 since we first heard the news.

The Top Speed rendering has the car sporting the same design features as the original Mach 1 including a black hood and shaker scoop, a black rear wing and of course, the iconic Mach 1 badge stripped down the side of the car with black stripes.

Ford has yet to confirm the rumors of a new model, but a higher performance Mustang carrying the Mach 1 badge would surely be a welcomed edition to the line-up.
