NighTTmare Mustang Races in Mexico

I’m starting to get a bit jealous of Mexico’s racing pedigree. It seems like all of the good races seem to have gone there.

On this occasion, somewhere deep in the heart of Mexico, we find the NighTTmare Coyote Mustang taking on a worthy contender in the form of a Toyota Supra.

The twin turbo Coyote certainly shows at night next to the Supra’s wail. They have a few rounds of battle, laying over 2,200 combined horsepower. It seemed as though the Supra had the Mustang early on, but the Mustang was quick to keep up. If only Mexico’s highways were a little bit longer…

Regardless of the outcome, the Mustang’s build is nothing to scoff at. It’s made to run on 19-inch M/T drag radials, has a built MPR engine, as well as a beefed up 6r80 gear box. The TT in the cars name comes from two Precision Gen2 6466 turbos.

Later in the video, the same Supra takes on a Corvette, with the results not all that surprising, seeing what it did with the Mustang.

For those of us who have made a visit, what’s the toughest opponent you’ve had to face in Mexico?
