#2 Underrated – 1984 – 1986 Mustang SVO

These are perhaps the most overlooked high-performance Mustangs of all time. The 2.3L turbocharged 4-cylinder was good for 175 (bumped to 205 in 1985) which equaled the Mustang GT of the day. But the SVO was considerably lighter than the GT. The SVO also got a host of suspension upgrades to improve handling. And it was the first Ford from the SVO team. These are underrated classics.
