APR Bringing Widebody Stang to SEMA

APR Performance will debut a 2013 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 wide-body debut at the 2013 SEMA Show, at the ProCharger booth. The modified Ford pony car features an all-new ground-up design and +50mm widening per side to be sold as a complete 10 piece wide-body aero kit.

Wolf in Fox’s Clothing: S197 GT500 Conversion Fox Body

Take one wrecked 2007 GT500. Take one super clean Fox body notch. The take virtually everything from the S197 except for the body and suspension. And you get this: a totally wicked sleeper built by Jason Hall of Mississippi. Oh, and did I mention that Jason did it with a friend outside under a carport? Yeah, we’ve seen a lot of Fox body Coyote swaps recently. But this takes it to another level.

First Production Shelby 1000 Widebody

Shelby first announced a widebody kit for the 2005-2009 Mustang back in December, and a similar package for the 2010+ Mustang a month later at the Detroit Auto Show in the form of an 850 horsepower GT500 Super Snake. At the time we asked company representatives if the widebody kit would be available for the Shelby 1000, and the answer was a resounding yes. In fact, they told us that one was already under production.

Supercharged Saleen 351 Prototype Revealed

At the LA Auto Show Back in November Saleen announced that they would be building a 351 Mustang, with the company releasing a rendering of the proposed car. Since then the company has been relatively quiet about the project, and we were wondering if the 351 Mustang was still on. Saleen answered that question today, as they unveiled the first 351 Mustang prototype at the Fabulous Fords show at Knott’s Berry Farm in Southern California.
