Burnouts, clutch dumps, and donuts are all fun and games, until the clutch takes a dump and it’s time to spend some bucks and install a new one. While going to the dealer or a professional repair shop is always  an easy option, doing it yourself could save you big bucks.

The “2 Minute Tech” tech video below will show you the necessary steps to access your Mustang’s clutch, as well as what too look for and what to be careful with when replacing the clutch yourself. While the video itself only lasts a handful of minutes, the repair job won’t be that quick. But with these instructions, it will surely be a lot easier.

Before you get started, make sure you get the exhaust pipes and other components out of the way to insure you don’t damage anything. And always have the helping hand of a buddy nearby, as it’s good to have assistance anytime you work with big components underneath a car.

Then check out the video and get started!
