The actor and activist is auctioning off his Mustang for a good cause.
Sean Penn is making quite a sacrifice to raise money for his charity. He will be auctioning off his own Shelby Mustang to benefit J/P Haitian Relief Organization. That is dedication we respect, and that is also a car we would really love to own.
According to Page Six the Shelby is going to be part of a live auction this Saturday. Other high-ticket items include “Hamilton” tickets from Lin-Manuel Miranda, dinner with Anderson Cooper at the home of chef José Andrés, a dress from Madonna’s “Rebel Heart” tour, and an opportunity to travel with the San Antonio Spurs.
We’re not sure which Mustang Penn is auctioning off. It’s most likely his Matte Black Shelby, which he’s been photographed with several times (which we’re sure he just loved). He also owned a 1968 Shelby GT500 that was given to Penn by Madonna as a wedding gift back in the ’80s.
If you’re interested in a sweet ride, this should fit the bill, and it’s for a great cause.
