Default Molded Rear Splash Guards

I'm planning on purchasing a pair of the rear molded splash guards for my black 2006 GT. Does anyone know if I will need to remove the wheels in order to install them? Thought I read that if you have a small angled screw driver they screw into the existing holes. Anyone have any experience? Thanks for any help.

I had to remove them when I installed mine. It just made it easier to do. I guess I didn't have any small screw drivers to perform the job. Though I insist you don't purchase them. Mine either were stolen, or fell off... Either or, but I really didn't like the look of them anyway. Just live with the splash and just maintain your car's paint job by waxing and stuff to protect. My .02.

Well, quite a variation here. I didn't have to remove my wheels to put them on but I did have a 90 degree offset philips head screw driver on hand so it made it easy. I have not had my molded mud flaps stolen but it certainly could happen. They do really protect the rear from rocks and things kicking up and scratching the paint. I don't care how much wax you put on there. You run over something on the highway at 80 mph it will hit the mud flap and not painted sheetmetal so I wouldn't be without them. I like the looks so it's personal taste and my car loves me LOL.

I really can't see it...but I think it would look cool if it was the same color of the car.

I like this mod. Do you have a link to the site selling this splash guard? Thanks.
