Nothing that needs locktite comes with it. To name a few Saleen Short Throw Shift Adapter, SHaker Hood, K member brace....... Almost everything I have installed, If I liked the look of it I would locktite it. But to each his own.

I just don't see how it could unthread itself completely. Locktite or not, I think it'll eventually break down and unthread again. I just want to return it and be done with it. The company I purchased it from (Will still go unnamed) have yet to call me back (it's been a couple days, not including weekend) about the issue and my concerns with returning it or replacing it with another. The other thing, even though I have the defective product... they want me to return it at my own cost. I think this is simply poor business. So unless everything works out smoothly, I'll tell my story and let the rest of you decide if you want to purchase from this company again.

I'd like to install the Hurst T-Handle, but can't figure out how to remove the stock shifter from the boot. Is there a clip?

Just work the shift boot off the shift ****, it stretches but just be careful because I'm sure you can damage it if you get too rough. It's not all that hard. Then turn the shift **** counterclockwise until you don't feel any more threads, and pull up and it comes right off. (Or you can just pull up every so often to see if it's still threaded or not.)

I found this **** on EBay,and might be of interest to you guys.

If you remember the '05 Mustang debut at the 2004 auto shows, you probably noticed that the MT **** was very different from the one actually offered in production. After some research, I found that the original **** that was featured at the auto-shows was replaced by a **** Ford received from a European supplier right before production.

The original **** design matches the Mustang's retro styling with cool font and ergonomic shape. There is a **** offered on EBay, which is machined out of aluminum, and has a clear-coat finish.

What do you guys think?

Only thing about those is that they'll get freezing cold in the winter and will brand your hand in the summer. Otherwise, it looks cool.

ORIGINAL: Menace

Alright, this is my first for interior accessories. I've got the billit shifter bezel and a round composite shift **** with a flat top and 5 speed logo. Pictures are embedded but I'm afraid my camera takes rather ****ty photos. Just figured I'd share this with you all and get your opinions.

The shifter bezel needs 10 pilot holes drilled, but you only drill like 1/4" to get through the shift boot and the plastic beneath the shift boot. All in all both were fairly easy. I did put the retainer on the shifter **** on backwards at first, and was wondering why the shift boot wasn't "secured" down... then I realized it and just got back from correcting my errors. Anyways, enjoy. Opinions welcome as always.

I think it looks very sharp.[sm=bounceybounce.gif]

Does anyone know how to take the a/c ***** off. I don't want to take a chance on messing anything up? Thanks for the help.

Very easy, they just pull off. Don't worry you won't damage them. Suggestion though...If you're replacing them with aftermarket billet make sure you set the oldknobs to high noon before pulling them off. That way you're not gussing the placement of the new *****.
