I've read the HOW TO posted here, but I was wondering if it is necessary to install the lower radiator shield since the V6 doesn't have one?

 

I responded to your post in my thread, but I'll say it again.

I found that it wasn't necessary to have the shield installed. Someone said it keeps the lip from flapping, but the bumper steems sturdy enough without it. I've tried a couple times to install it but I dont have the correct retainers, so I gave up.
