Default Manual Shifter *****

I'm concerned about metal billet pieces, as they heat up in the sun and make shifting tenuous. Curious as to whom is using those cue ball resin ***** for manual shifter *****. I've seen them advertised all the way up to 2.25" in the hand, which seems huge.

sry lol.

i think the hurst ball would be perfect, is that what your talking about?

i don't think the heat will be a huge issue, as its not in direct sunlight, unless its a vert.

I have a Hurst ball from my 2003 GT that I had to replace the insert in to fit the 05 threads. The ball also seems to have made shifts more positive.

The stock **** has a groove in it that the boot fits over. You can just pull down on the boot near the base of the **** and it will come right off. In my photo you can see a part that I made to go under the ball. This part serves two purposes it has a groove cut in it just like the stock **** to hold the boot up and is also threaded inside so you can lock the ball in position.
