GT Newbie

Can anyone please tell me where I might be able to buy non-chrome replacements for the chrome trim on my dash (both on the ventilation rings and/or the gauge cluster trim)?
If not, then does anyone know a good way to "paint" over the existing chrome trim...?
I know this might sound like a weird request, but the reflection of the sun and headlights on the chrome bothers me sometimes, and I'd much prefer to make it dark (mat black, dark gray, etc.).
