Has anyone ordered the Steeda Cowl hood? If so, how many hours of prep work would you say had to be done before prime and paint approximately? Is the hood pretty straight as far as waves go? Any input is appreciated. I am looking to get an estimate from a paint shop before I buy it so I kind of want to get some idea of what to expect.

 

Just put the full cowl on a couple weeks ago. Did a pre-paint fit and it was perfect right out of the box.
Prep was completely minimal (gelcoat was perfect). I was going to rent space at a booth and do it myself but time is $ in the end so I had mine painted for $150 locally and it looks great.
Has the hoses for the washer nozzles already run and took about 15 minutes to put on (with an extra set of hands to hold it).
