Ive seen a few mustangs with a compass and exterior temp guage in the rear view mirror. My 07 GT doesnt have it. Anyone ever do a swap and if so is the harness hiding up in the head liner or does it require a new harness?

just installed last week...bought from autoanything..very simple, a little underhood and through the firewall, and then the rest routes in the plastic header panel under the visors, then back down to the switched power source. about and hour and a half. works and looks great.

Autodimmingmirrors has a very good one. It has compass/temp and 3 homelink buttons, my security gate and each of my garage doors.. I love it..

I have the GT/CS which came with the auto dim and compass. But I wish it would have came with the Temp and homelink options.
I thought of upgrading, but don't want to spend $300 on a mirror, just to add the homelink and temp, since I already have the autodim.

Wish ford would not have skimped out. The All the other vechicles we have come with homelink and a temp gauge standard.

They are pretty cool mirrors, I have always liked them. One came in our SUV standard from the factory but it was an option on the stang. If you are still looking for one I have a few of them. They are new in the box. (compass and temp) PM me if interested. FYI- you do need the harness but its included.

It is ONLY the temp and compass mirror. The homelink etc ones cost more. The price for the mirror alone is $199.95 new shipped. If you want to purchase wire covers they are $5.00 each. Some people by the short cover, some the long cover, some none at all.Yes it is a Gentex. Let me know.

Thanks for getting back. That is the price I found elsewhere on the net. I told my wife I want it for Fathers Day, so I will be saving my money for a couple months. Guess I will wait a while.
