installed the mtx thunderform sub in my06 vert. from hifisoundconnection.com. 199.00-15.00-shipping. Running 250rms through sub(mtx4500) Yes,even in the vert,the bass comes through. You won't win any spl contests but I am impressed with the output. May consider more power and different sub in the future but it is rattling the license plate already.Most of the bass is lost with top down. I am also running mb quart component 5x7 in front doors with a JL350/2. Rears are run off of alpine deck but I hardly run anything to them. Thought the vert owners would want to know.
