Baltimore Street Mods Stripe Kit
Well, haven't posted for a while, but ran into a problem so I decided to post. I had 12" stripes done last fall with 1/4 " pin striping. I was not impressed by the way it came out so for Christmas I ordered Baltimore Street Mods kit. I found a place that said " Sure we'll install the kit! This was in DEC. When I called for an appt. on Feb. they said no problem if I wanted to call at the end of March for April install, I asked if the price was the same( 70 $ an hour @ no more than 4 hours) researching thru here and other sites I said COOL price! Well, April came around and I dropped off the car. All excited, I would finally get it right!
Two hours later, the guy calls me and says, the kit comes in too many pieces and will take two days to do!! @ 70$ an hour + supplies = around $ 1200 for Vinyl Stripes!!! Christ, the dealer quoted me $1500 to paint and 3 coats of clearcoat! So for $ 200 Ihad them fix the ones already on the car. Its not Superb but they are better than before. It seems here in Connecticut, unless money is no object, I cant get this kit installed for a decent price( 200-500 $) and if i do, it may be a **** job, by the way, the stripes I had done was on a favor ( barter) like tit for tat kind of a deal, It was done by a guy in the business on the side for services rendered. It took him ten hours with his material and said if it were to come up again, he would charge 1000 $ to do stripes from his raw stock and install.
So here I stand with a Gloss Black stripe kit with pinstripes and no place around here ( Central Connecticut) to install them. If any one is interested in them, send me a PM and Ill discuss price and delivery. They are brand new still in the box they were delivered in with instructions, definatly worth what Im asking for them! Or if you are drom CT and know of someone to do them, please let me know!
Again they are 12" wide, Gloss Black with 1/4 " Gloss Black pin stripes, from Front bumper to rear bumper and spoiler. Pictures of kit attached.

RE: Baltimore Street Mods Stripe Kit
Why don't you do them yourself? They're not difficult. I had a friend that ordered some rocker-panel stripes and had a dealership's body shop install thme for $40.00. I guarantee that a body shop will chare you within the 4200-500 range. Give it a shot!
