And how is this Appearance Mod related?
The answer should be self evident.

Its the way you come off to people wolfey2k.
Your attitude really seems like you're the type of person that will come into my work demanding things expecting us to help you. If you came in and started talking like you are here, we would tell you good luck at another dealership and don't come back. And yes there is an SSM regarding this problem. I was talking with our field engineer and the newer built mustangs do have updated suspension parts. But they are waiting to see if the propblem is corrected with new models. Sorry if I was rhetorical.
Yo, do you know the definition of rhetorical?
And you're telling on yourself Mr. attitude!
Also, you couldn't be farther off the track!
I get along great with my dealers, both of them!
How else do you figure I knew about the SSM/TSB and current production stangs having the fix before YOU DID?
I bet you guys lose a lot of busines with an attitude like that.
Kiss my bumper!
Yeah rhetorical, like why are you such an A$$? I don't expect a real answer.
Where is my attitude. I didn't feel the need for ! or caps for anything.
And how am I off track?
I'm glad you get along with your dealers. And anytime a SSM or TSB comes out I know the following morning. I just don't always deal with suspension every day. Which by the way would be the Handling Performancewould be the proper forum for this and not "appereance mods". I just don't see how this topic will make you Mustang look better.
And for you last comment. Do I really need to say anything. You just clearly showed me what kind of person you really are.

And my dealer is doing just fine. One of the only ones that will stay around it this area with all that are closing. But you already know that story.

Open scene on Mustangman (parody of Anchorman):

Me: Man that thread got out of hand in a hurry

Prometheus: Yeah, I killed a guy

Wolfey: Yeah I saw that, you should think about laying low for a while

Prometheus: Yeah

Close scene.

Summary: wow this thread devolved quickly.

It did didn't it. [sm=sigh.gif]
Now that I expressed interest to our FE. He will let me know as soon as any updates are madeabout this noise. He lets me know about the fuel filling problem and we try different solutions. I've had no more problem with the fuel ( knock on wood ) since I did the last repair. I will be sure to follow up on this.
Until then can't we all just get along.

Buddha211, rofl!

PROMETHEUS, I am not surprised that you went off topic while accusing me of mis-posting this thread.
Earlier I saidit should be'self evident' as to why one would intentionally post in this particular area.
Sure, it obviously has nothing to do with appearance etc.
It is a HEADS UP for ALL Mustang owners. That's all.

Many folks don't monitor threads in general like I do or many others do. So I want folks to know what's going on with the coupe's suspension.
Well I hope that explains it clearly enough.
I anticipated getting questions like yours. I figure it's worth taking a little bit of heat as it will probably help some current and or new would be Mustang owners avoid the same headaches or take action to get it corrected as they have a lot of clout behind them now thanks to those of us who have taken up the cause to see that it IS addressed and corrected!

It's a comfort to me and many others that Ford has finally seen the light and taken this front suspension thunking noise seriously as they have now done something about it instead of offering up lip service!

We anti-thunkers probably had something to do with Ford caughing up the solution regardless of their poor financial performance.

Listen, if it doesn't say FORD on it, I don't drive it! However, I prefer to be pro-active in solving such problems not just for myself but for the benefit of others.

I've owned serveral Ford's and currentlyown 2 and I love them! I know FORD will pull through and come out on top again. They always do!
