Will the tire rub?
Hey whats up guys, I have a 2005 Mustang GT. I put 18inch Saleen wheels on it and was wondering if i lower it will the tires rub? I was lookin at the Eibach lower spring kit. I dont think it will but i just want to check with you guys. I was at a car show tonight and a guy had the lowering kit on his car and it looks alot nicer.

RE: Will the tire rub?
I have 20's and 1.5" lowering kit from FRPP, rubbing is not even a thought that enters my mind. The suspension is sooo much stiffer now too, it's unreal how little verticaltraveland sway from stock youfeel on bumps and in corners. Evenso, it's not uncomfortable.I worry more about my front air dam hitting the ground. Go for it. Get 20's so your tires fill up the wheel wells and bigger brakes are easier to put on. Just my humble opinion.

RE: Will the tire rub?
okay i just thought about this, The steeda springs lower it 1 inch, and i never seen em in person so i dont know how they look. The eibach pro kit lowers it 1.3 and i have seen them and the look bad ***. Now im 17 so im gunna be using this as a everyday car. If i go with the eibach, am i gunna be scraping the bumper on steep hills? Will i with the steeda?

RE: Will the tire rub?
BlackStangGT-I have the Steeda ultralites in the rear and no problems at all. I couldn't place them in the front as I live in Michigan the "pothole" state and have high curbs everywhere. Thanks for the compliment...much appreciated! All the aftermarket springs are stiffer and the car squats less than before with just the springs installed. After I get the S/C I will be changing out the rest of the rear suspension for some good hook up when drag racing!
