I just walked into a local seat shop here in SD to ask about redoing the front seats on my car.(I'm not too crazy about the crap leather and vinyl Ford uses)
I was plaesantly surprized at what he told me. I wanted to have him redo the seats in the same color leather (but with better leather) and have ALL the top and front viasble surfaces of the seats to be LEATHER,back and sides would still be vinyl but a better quality.
I also asked him fora twist. I have covered my center console box cover with stingray skin. It looks awesome IMO. He said if I get him 2 more skins he can incorporate them in the back rests of each of the front seats.
Quote was $400.00 per seat to do of course I would supply the skins that would be another $100.00 each.
I was wondering if any of you guys have had your seats done and if you've used any exotic materials.

Yes I have pics I will be downsizing them for posting soon. Yeah I think the seats will look sick too The seat guy had a ear to ear smile and said that he did alot of cool stuff but this would bea first!!

if that doesnt go through, look into MRT's custom interiors. i was looking at some at their open house and i was really impressed. you can also get them two tone which would make the world of a difference on the interior!
