Default 800$ to paint mirrors and trim

I love my baby, so I went to arguably the best paint place in town and got an appraisal to sand and paint my mirrors and upper door trim to match my car. I'm going for this look:
He quoted me 800$ and I think I could bargain him down to 700$. Even if it's a flawless job, which I think it will be, 700$ is pretty steep.

My question is: Does anyone know of a good paint shop North of Atlanta, GA(I live in Alpharetta)?
Or, is it worth it for great work to pay this kind of price?

The name of the place is Perfect Pro Collision.

Thanks for any advice.

I want to do that to my stang too but for 700 that is wayyyy to much. Sand them yourself and just have them paint it and you install it back yourself. Youll save a ton.

I asked, he said he'd only knock off about 200 for doing the sanding myself... kind of ridiculous.

I'd say if you can, wait until you have more work to be done in one visit. I had hood, chin, blackout and tail painted + clear coat for $1,000. Seems steep even at $700.

Ouch.....way too much for so few pieces. I got my front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, window scoops, and door scoops painted for $420. This is a little low becuase I had an in at the shop. However, he said materials for all those parts was $120, so I am guessing materials for your job would be like $50 or less....the rest is labor. And honestly, there's not a lot of labor involved with those little parts.

But I must say I love the painted trim. If mine wasn't an Alloy (close to black) I would do it too.

Painted mirrors make a HUGE difference in the look. Good luck finding someone reasonable.

First off thats my car. thanks for the ad. I sanded them all myself . not too difficult at all. I had the trim , mirrors and rear spoiler painted for $280. Try another shop.

the painting I can understand . I stay away from that. the sanding is just by hand. go to checkers or some auto parts store and get 400, 800 and maybe 100 grit sand paper- this is not wood sand paper either. start with the 400 and sand until you no longer see the little dimples in the plastic. start on the bottom of one of the mirrors this way if you do cause a problem it will not be seen. the key to sanding is just don't stay in one place for too long. once you are done with the 400 go to 800. this is just done by feel. you don't need to go to 100 but I am **** retentive that way. don't worry about if you see lines, as long as you cant feel them they will be covered up by the paint. the dimples are the thing you want to focus on.

I think that is too much also. I had my antenna holes filled and painted, mirrors, lower grill and CDC classic spoiler painted for $175. I took all the parts of the car (except for the antenna hole) and prepped them myself. They painted everything and then I put it all back together myself. It was fairly easy to do and not that expensive.
