Someone posted these on another forum, they're from an Explorer Sport Trac.

They're not on my car, but they cover the existing holes.

When you guys put on new badges, are you filling the holes with anything to seal them for leaks, or do you just put the new badge over them to cover them? Thanks.

I ended up using the V6 running horse that is all chrome. It came with the exact guide pins for the existing holes. As long as what you are using covers the hole with the adhesive, you will not have to do anything additional.

How much do you guys think it would be to just shave them and then get it repainted??

I like more of the sleek look but know it's definately gonna cost more..

I would have to guess around $500.00 to repair the holes and feather in the paint to blend

I would definitely prefer to repair the holes and paint the fender with no badges for a clean look, too. I just don't want to spend that kind of money for that. I decided to try the 281/pony badges (part#18005) from Ameri canMuscle.com. I'll post pictures of how they look when I can figure out how to upload.

$500 is not too bad but I would expect a little extra body work for that kind of price.. I don't know, maybe just take out a few imperfections in the paint..
