Side Window Louvers
So I'm thinking about getting side window louvers, just wandering...CDC, Roush, Classic Industries, others?
What do you have on your ride?
How do you like them?
Did you buy them painted, or did you paint them yourself?
If you took them to be painted, what did it cost you?
Just looking for some opinions before I buy, I like the Roushs', but I'm open for reviews, advice, and opinions.
Thanks,
Dam

RE: Side Window Louvers
+1 on the Silverhorse Louvers. I don't think there are any that look better although they are known to be more labor intensive for installation, the finished product is awesome. I have them on my list but there are just sooo many things to mod and so little money...

RE: Side Window Louvers
I started out with the Saleen quarter window treatment. Switched to CDC's about two months or so ago. I have gotten nothing but positive comments on them. Bought them used on another board, already painted MG. Paid about 113 shipped. Watch the for sale boards.....

RE: Side Window Louvers
Had Xenon scoops for awhile, but go tired of the boxy shape of them, that and how they stuck on with tape to the body. Next I got Razzi scoops, which were way better than the Xenons, but I didn't completely like them because they attacked to the window via 3m tape and it still showed the line of the window which looked kinda weird. Both of the previous mentioned sets of scoop were not Next time i'm going with louvers instead of scoops, the ones Silverhorse Racing makes. The SHR louvers are the only ones that are actually real, because they replace the side glass, versus being taped on like everything else.

If I had to do it again, and I might, I would get the SHR louvers. I bought my scoops off a member here that had them on his alloy. I ended up paying $100 for them, so for that price painted and shipped to my door I couldn't turn the deal down.
