Default Aftermarket Auto Trans shifter

Does anyone know if there is a company besides B&M that makes or is planning on making an aftermarket auto transmission shifter? The factory one is quite cheap looking

It looks and feels cheap! Does your Overdrive switch rattle/vibrate? Mine does.

Default Gated Aftermarket Auto Trans shifter needed

Talk about missing the "bandwagon"...

We need a nice billet piece with a T handle like Hurst made way back when...

This is a retro pony...

Also, since we have 5 speed autos, a gated shifter with 5 positions would be excellent.

No more slipping from D to Rin the driveway or parking lot when you want N!

And get rid of the overdrive button completely!

5 (Manual shifting options)
4
3
P2
R1
N
D (normal Drive for lazy days)

This would be nice, just bang the handlenorth to switch to the next gear, no chance of slipping up 2 gears this way.

These are computer-controlled trannys so they should be able to make ANY shift pattern desired with electrical contacts.

Shouldn't they?

Hey,

Since these automatics are computer-controlled, why can't they make a 5 speed shift pattern???

They could make it a zig-zag pattern, cover it with a rubber boot, put a T handle on it with a button for Park and Reverse.

Or even a big white ball (w/ shift pattern)with a small button for Park and Reverse lock.

Just an idea.

Has anyone contact TCI about making a shifter for the 05+ mustang Auto?
They have everything else, and they are B&M/Hurst's competitor.
I would think that they would be anxious to get a product out before B&M does. WTF?
