Default HID INSTALL

Just Installed the HID 8000k Kit from www.stangmods.com . Really easy to install and the lights are BRIGHT !!! I'll post pics of where I mounted the ballast tomorrow . Had a little bit of a hard time trying to figure out where to mount the ballast with out drilling holes into the body of the car but it came out nice.

Did mine already, and I agree...looks great, and definitely brightens up the roads during the night.

I mounted my ballasts to my inner fenders.

Did you put any other kind of adhesive/sealant on the outer part of the lens around the edges to help protect from water and whatever else? Ipurchased some aftermarket headlights and returned them due to excessive amounts of water getting into the headlight. watch for this. looks good btw.

I paid $214 that included free shipping thru fed-ex . I got a discount because they had a labor day special. Now as far as water getting in I didnt put any sealant the area around the buld it comes with a rubber type of cover which you press against the light housing . I'll keep an eye out if water gets in .

I didnt use any sealant or anything...I guess you could run into that problem if you buy cheap products, but quality products with come with the right rubber sealing built into the bulb.

Just plug and play...real easy...

I paid $250 Cash to my door everything...
Usually the units are alot more...
