first of all, only some parts of the seats are leather, the backs are some kind of vynl or something.

The easiest way to do this is just to get them done professionally, or just get some take-off mustang seats, and take out your old ones.

Or, for around the same price, some simpson racing seats!!!!!!

I'll trade you. I don't care for the leather. Every car I've had for years had cloth and I find it a lot more comfortable. Maybe it's because my parents had that stupid plastic on our sofa for a few years when I was a kid... [sm=rolleyes.gif]

Well, yes and no??? As much as I prefer cloth I'm not about to replace the stock leather. But I AM researching seat covers that will still retain the Stang look. I use my Stang more for long trips and I always end up sticking to my clothes a lot more than I do in my SUV which has cloth. But if I were you, I'd keep my eyes open for wrecks in your area, perhaps talk to some of the dealerships and body shops and have them keep an eye out for you.

I've seen them for sale all over the place, new and used....about $300. I think newtakeoff sells them. I always see a disclaimer about the airbags though. You might be stuck with cloth unless you can replace the entire seat.
