Good morning all...

I've been thinking of putting the "Mustang" script http://www.qualitymustangparts.com/musscripfene.html
on my dash above the glove compartment. I think I've seen a pic of another member's car with the same thing.

I think it would look good, what are ya'll opinions?

NO!

Not sure about putting ANYTHING in that area.

There is an airbag there and I don't know what would happen if the bag goes off and there is a PROJECTILE on the dash.

Vinyl lettering would be OK, but anything plastic/metal is probably a REALLY bad idea.

Play it safe.

SOHCman is right about potentially dangerous metal objects being attached to that area.

I went with a vinyl script. Here's picture......sorry about the glare;

I got it from Custom Graphix Online. They send you two 10" wide stickers for $9.98....that includes S&H.

I've always wondered what font that was done in. I can create my own vinyl lettering and I like that one...its a good fit for the cars.

Here is the same Mustang script sold by Quality Mustang Parts, but it uses double sided tape for attachment.

And here is what it looks like on the back side of my car:

Hope this helps,

Ricco333... Yes, that is exactly what I was talking about... But now I'm afraid of the airbag issue.
