RE: I Wrecked My Car!!!!!!!
When I was 17, I was run off the road by a dumptruck being driven by a 5 ft tall mexican...to make it worse, I was driving my dad's 2001 BMW M3 convertible without permission...he was pissed but wasnt too mad when the officer told him the skid marks say I wasn't speeding and the other guy sped off. I was grounded for the entire summer and had to pay the insurance but lesson learned...I am 19 now and still no speeding tickets but empty bank account! Good luck man

well $600 for my family. Mom, Dad, and me. my mom has an Odyssey, my dad has an '06 Vette, and i have the Stang, plus we have an extra 2002 F150 Lariat Supercrew. everyone is insured under all of the vehicles. the reason it'll go up so much is having an 18 y/o male with an at-fault wreck on the insurance for a Stang GT and Corvette. the reason we carry such a high deductible is so that insurance is manageable.

Sorry to here that man! University is a b**** to pull out onto unless you got a light. Just glad it didn't hit you in the door...things could have been worse...especially since people run 50 or so down university constantly.

Maybe consider paying the damages out of pocket? Would that make a difference in the rate or are they going to screw you anyway? I'm figuring a one-time out of pocket of $5000 is better than +$500/mo for a couple years.
