you know it's funny you mention that...i would be interested in seeing pics of anyone have flat black stripes....i have an 07 black GT vert and we didn't want to do stripes because of the black top...personally...the only stripes that i think work on verts is torch red with black stripes and a black top....because the top is always a different color and you can't color the top, it's hard to do stripes....BUT...i was thinking satin (flat) black stripes would look awesome on a gloss black body where the satin stripes would sort of match the convertible top seeing as it isn't gloss....i am thinking if i can have the painters match the color of the top and lay that over the body in satin, it would give it a really subtle racing feel even though it's a rag top....

what do you guys think?

ive seen the flat black stripes.. not on a vert.. but on a gloss black and it looks amazing.

and btw my cars vista blue if you didnt notice

Theres an uncanny lack of Vista Blue w/ black stripe photos on ANY of the Mustang forums. Which sucks for me too, because Id like to see it before I do it also. Not even sure if Ive seen any VB's w/ the Shelby front end.

Personally I don't like black or gray stripes on either black or vista blue.

I have been thinking about flat black stripes for awhile now. I recently bought a set of vinyls and for practice, applied them to a spoiler I had laying around. I'm sold now. The flat black on vista blue looks great. Now, I'm just waiting for it to get a little warmer to do the car.
