my color question
so i was reading the other day about the my color option that u can purchase as a upgrade and i noticed that my car doesnt have that and i really want it now. Does anyone know if i can take it up to the ford dealership and have them change it an install that or is that like a factory thing where its only done there? can someone please help me?
It can technically be done at the dealership, but with the expense of the parts and labor I don't honestly think it would be worth it. I have it on mine from the factory and to be honest...it's pretty much just a gimmick. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see the bill for having the dealer convert it be well over $1000. Edit
that would be $400 to $500 afterreading around a bit. Still wouldn't do it for that though.

Send an email toEd at Parr Ford parts@parrauto.com , and get a quote from him. Just give him your VIN# and he will tell you what it costs.
I got a quote from him yesterday. Cluster is $243.10, switch $39.62, and shipping is around $25. There is a refundable $300 core charge for your old cluster, and you get it back after you return it to them using the prepaid DHL card included with the new cluster.
