Default To those with Stangmods Bi-Xeon HID kits

Do you like the results? Any downside?I'm thinking of asking Santa for a 6000K for Christmas.

i don't know about stang mods but a friend of mine got a set of bi xenon 8000 k for his car and the bulb got so hot it started the housing on fire........ before that he had the non bi xenon kit and it worked fine.....both were 8000k kits

Sounds like your friend got a really cheap kit. I can tell you a stock halogen bulb running at 55w is about 450*F,our 35w HID run about 250*F, and the 55w HID run at 350*F all measured at the same distance of about 1".
So in reality, the housings run less risk of a problem with 55w HID compared to 55w Halogen! But there are major differences in quality among brands though.
Also, if his bulbs were not installed correctly, that can cause an issue as well!

Nope, we own the brand exclusively, and there is only one of a hand full of authorized vendors we wholesale to that sells these online at all.
Did you see the price tag on that kit there? It costs less than what we pay to have ours manufactured, and costs all that much more, that is way more than 100% overhead.
