Default HID headlight help!

Ok... so I just upgraded my headlights to the 08 gt500 HID lamps and I was having an issue with them staying on... they would start to stobe out and just shut off. My guy said that they whernt getting enough juice so he did some crazy wiring... I think what he did was put the power from the High beam and added it to the low beams... This worked the headlights stay on, but im pretty sure its not the right way to do this... Now the headlights work perfect but the high beam light on the dash is on and I cant have the head lights and the fog lamps on at the same time. because the only way the lights will stay on is if the high beam is engaged... Its kinda frustrating... anybody know the right way to make these lights work normally?? Is there a specific wiring harness i need?? and would this have anything to do with the U-drive pulleys??

sorry for the novel of a post... there was a lot of explaining...

If anyone knows how to do this the right way PLEASE let me know. =)

He should have added a relay kit to feed them directly from the battery. Like this: http://www.thexenonstore.com/relay.php

any chance it could be the ballast from the HID kit? I had that on my evo. I had 1 that would either not go on or shut off while driving. Turned out 1 of the ballasts was cooked.

Hello Sir,
It is my pleasure if I can slove this problem perfectly.
As it can't lighting at the same time,
I think coz the power is not enough and lamp rob power.
you can use a special harness.

Any more questions, you can contact me in any time.
