So, this friday I am scheduled to get some new stripes put on my stang, however, there is a nasty rain storm coming tomorrow (thursday) and it is supposed to last until saturday. I guess what im asking is will rain screw up a new stripe job? (i might add, the stripes aernt painted, theyre vinyl)

i assume you have a shop doing it?..i would ask them, im sure if it was a problem they would tell you

yea it shouldnt be a problem because before they put the stripes on they have to clean the area they are putting the stripes any way so it gets its fully sticks to the paint just that the surface cannot be wet so they will dry it

I assume they will heat the vinyl before letting it out into the world, wet or sun.
Anyway, it's Saturday and you should be taking pictures right now to share.

I could be wrong, but once installed, aren't you supposed to let them sit (cure) before taking them out?

Hey there, so yah i just got them done yesterday (couldnt get them done friday because of the huge storm that hit cali) and they look awesome. I will post a few pics once i get to takin them today

cool, do you live in the San Diego or LA area & if so who did you have do yours & how much. I'm still sitting here with my hood & side stripes in my trunk.

I live up in northern california (sacramento to be exact)

Ive gotta go back to the shop either later today or tomorrow though, one of the corners came unstuck on the rear bumper stripe...and theres a dime size bubble in the rear window tint. Atleast the stripes have a 6 year warranty and the tint is covered for life. Oh, heres some pics!
