I was wondering about how long tint normally lasts (still looks good), especially in the rear window since it seems as though the defrosters would severely shorten the life of the tint with it being heated up like that. Sorry if its a dumb question I know nothing about tint.

 

Well, it all depends on what tint you are using. Mine is guarenteed not to turn purple from the sun or otherwise for at least 5 years, because it will eventually turn purple, that is just how it works, the suns rays are very powerful. But ask your tint guy when installing them or getting a quote, it is a few years at a minimum though.
