Anyone got a digital speedometer?

Anyone got a digital speedometer?
Anyone got a digital speedometer? I drove a coworkers 300Z and it had a digital speedometer on the dash by the windshield. Made it easier to tell how fast you're going without taking your eyes off the road.
Wondered if anyone put one in their car and had pics.

Do you mean a Heads Up Display? (HUD) This displays a digital reading of your speed projected onto your windshield. I know some older Pontiacs did that, but I am not sure if they make a kit for ours cars. I wouldn't imagine that it would be too easy to install.

Here's a pic of the interior of the 350Z with the speedo circled in red. I think I want to get the triple gauge holder for the dash and have the speedo and Autometer digital tach/shift light in it. The third gauge is to be determined.
I just think it would help me rev match and shift better if I could see each more clearly. I can't really go by the sound of the engine since the radio is usually on. Just wanted others thoughts or pics if anyone else has done the same.

Man those 350's are really nice. Too bad they are only a two seater.
Back to topic.
My wifes old altima had a hud and it was very helpful. Honestly, though, if I had to pick something to display,it would be my tach. I'm bad about going too long in a gear

my Garmin 660 displays a digital speed readout. i have it mounted on my windshield so i don't have to take my eyes off the road and it's about 1-2mph more accurate than my car's speedo.

So you're looking more for something as an additional source for a clear and accurate reading of your speed instead of replacing your normal one? I didn't know they made something like that for cars. I know the normal one is hard to see sometimes because the numbers are so close together. That would prob work if you got the guage pod for on your dash.

Yeah, I think I'm going to go with the dash pod and get the digital speedo and digital tach/shift light. I need to figure out another gauge to put in it, but no rush. Probably be a few months, but I'll post pics.
It is a little hard to read the regular speedo when your glancing down quickly. I can't even see the tach when I'm driving because my left hand is on top of the wheel and my arm covers the view of it. Just figured having them on the dash and in digital form would make it easier.
