I just recently ordered and recieved a chrome plastic billet grill. There are two tabs on each side and 3 on the bottom for installing it. On the top however there are two large tabs where it seems i would have to bolt it down. In between these two there are two of the tabs that are located everywhere else on the grill. But they are broken off. Is it supposed to be this way? Or should i return the grill and ask for a new one? I really need to know what to do because I want to install it. Please help and thanks in advance.

its been a while since i had my grill off but it should be 2 on each side, and like 5 across the bottom, then the top will have i think 2 spots where that thin black cover will snap back in with the little black plastic rivet like things....go outside, pop your hood, and look at the stock one, compare it to the new one, if it looks like it will work put it in and see how the fit is..if it works then no big deal, but if not then call them and return it, it not like you can damage it by putting it in unless you are very careless

Thanks. I will go out to the garage and check the pony package grill thats on there now. And when you say the two on the top were they about three times as wide as the others and have a hole in them. Anyways I am going to go check and probably install in sometime this week. If it doesnt work I will probably just return it if possible. I guess i could just tell them that it was damaged before purchase or in delivery. They would have to let me return it i guess. I just was afraid that if i tried to install it and they were able to tell. Then perhaps they would say that I broke it trying to install it and then not let me return it.

i have the chrome plastic grille as well...i think i actually broke off one or two tabs puttiing it in so maybe you got one that was returned....but it does fit and stay in just fine...like he said, if the stock grille's tabs line-up, it's all good
