Hey guys,

I wanted to blackout my front headlights. ONLY my headlights not the foglights or anything. Should i go with the snap on GTS covers or the material that sticks on? Im not concerned about the money but more worried about

A) if either looks cheap up close?
or
B) which dims the light more? (because i definitely dont want that)

any input is really appreciated

 

I tinted the fog lights on my friend's GT with the Rvinyl stuff. I never worked with it before but it was pretty easy and looked professional. Headlights would be even easier since they are not curved.

I bought what they SAID was the darkest kind, thinking it would be like limo tint, but it's not all that dark. I would say it looks like 35% but I don't know.

 

I would go with the vinyl. I have the GTS tail light covers and if they are anything like the headlight covers they are a trouble to keep on at times because they only clip under the light and the top is not secured down. For exapmle, on my tail lights everytimeI open the trunk the lights come off a little because they arent secured down. Vinyl would be the best buy because from what I've heard they are not difficult to install/uninstall.

 

I had the gts on my front for awhile and they did not like to stay on so I would go with the vinyl.

does anyone know a good website to purchase them off of?

If anyones familiar with JDM ford tuning in jersey i live right near them .. you think i should just go straight to them???
