Default instrument cluster removal

Hello, i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove the panels infront of the instrument cluster so I could gain access to the instrument cluster. I have taken the cd player out before, so I assume that this should be in the same difficulty range. If anyone has any pics of it, that would be great as well. I just really need to know if the dash snaps in, or screws in and where exaclty the screws are located. Thanks.

It's very easy. Lower the steering wheel, then grab a hold of the instument panel and pull straight out.

thats all that is to it? Hmm... I thought it woulda been a little harder then that. Is the cluster held in by screws then? Is it the same with the passenger side as well?

I assume it's just screwed in there yeah. I didn't need to go any further than that. Take it out and take a peek.

The passenger side is going to have an airbag so none of that is going to come out. The heater vents pull right out though.
