Default Fang chin installed today

Rather easy to do, 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of dupli-color bumper paint.
Felt a little weird drilling holes in my bumper but it was ok.
Also while the paint was drying I installed a pair of hood struts ( had to drill holes in the hood, scary)

What a difference!
I was ready to order mine but the shipping cost was more than the actual item.
Shipping to Hawaii is like shipping to outer space.

Im not thrilled with the paint,, I might take it off and let a pro paint it if its not too much money.

Im thrilled with the hood struts also, no more stick to hold up my hood.

well after 2 days on the gravel drenched freeways of Calgary Alberta,,, I have about 5 chips on the fresh paint.

So Im gonna unbolt it and let a pro paint it with some kind of crazy tough road rash proof paint.

That's about how much Maaco charged me, but they painted it RedFire, even though I gave them DCAR's color code...morons.

I wonder what it would look like if it was tough coated with bed liner for a truck as long as it was smooth and not bumpy. That would stop the chips.
