ok guys. some news for you that are interested in the katskin upholstery. only businesses or custom shops can create an account online, which is why they require all that extensive information. I gave them a call and found their customer support very friendly and supportive. after enduring countless "DUDE"s (they are located in Cali after all lol), they told me that the only we would be able to purchase them is through local distributors, which means having to call Katzkin customer service and providing them with your zip code. In return they will give you a list of numbers or shops in your area that carries their line of products. to avoid being re-directed just ask that you are looking for distributors in your area. here is the number in case you guys haven't hit up their website yet: 1-800-842-0590.

Ok decided to post back on this thread, never got around to coming back to this 'cause I've been so tied up with work college and finals. I called up a local upholstery shop around my way, met up with the owner and explained my situation. He was more than helpful, and went through the different options that Katzkin has. In the end, I chose the Crimson Red, and for the install it'll run me $1300, which is a pretty good price.
