Default Help please: Want to upgrade my wheel & tires on 08 GT

I have a 08 GT prem. that came with the silver 17" bullets & 235/50 or 55/17's.

I want to get chrome bullets from american muscle and cannot decide or know wich will fit and look the best. Also I can get the TPMS sensors from them. My car is not lowered.
#1 option = 4-17"X 9" wheels with 255/50/17's on front & 275/40/17's on back?
#2 option=2-18"X9" wheels with 255/45/18's on front & 2-18X10" wheels with 275/40/18's on the back or will the 275's fit on the 9" rim? Are 275's too wide?

I really appreciate any advice, Thanks

im not really a tire guy but i have 265/35/18 on front and 295/40/18 on the rear of my mustang and thats on a 10 inch rim so you should be able to fit a 275 on a 9" rim if you dont find the answer your looking for you can always ask a rim shop they should bae able to tell you
but i would go with the 18" set up 17s look to small in my opinion

Thanks for your advice. Hearing from someone who actually has them on their car helps very much.

275 is the biggest for 9"... but if you are going with 10
go with at least a 285/40

On a 10" wide rear wheel, I'd go bigger, at least 285/40/18.
