Default Hide away license plate frame?

I live in NY so its a must that we have front license plates...I was hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I've heard about license plate brackets where it can be folded up or in and away from plain sight. That way when driving around I can have it visible, but at car meets/shows I can fold it away. Anyone know what I'm talkin about here? If so, where can I get one? Thanx for any help in advance! Much appreciated.

Oh believe me, they DO CARE about it out here in NY, and I don't want to take any chances. Although some people may get away with it, my luck is never that good!

Here's a thread on them that should prove helpful. I'm going to get a new front fascia and dread drilling holes in it for a front plate. This should do the trick!

Hey thanks, too bad I only saw your post AFTER I placed an order on a similar item...just like the one you suggested, its free shipping as well. Different name, same purpose...$60, the one you found is a bit cheaper.

Here's where I ordered it from:

Its basically gonna be how it shows on the YouTube videos...im sure when the plate is folded away, you will see a lil bit of the bracket which im sure I'm not gonna be too thrilled about, but hey its a lot better than drilling holes into a bumper...thats how I look at it. If it's worth taking pics of, im sure BoidMorphs or I will post pics up.

From the utube video it looked alittle lacking in support and could possibly get pushed back into the car at speed and scratch the bumper...

Anyone have the hide-away tag that has encountered any issues??

I wonder if I can make some king of a plate to mount between the CDC spoiler & the stock bumper so I could mount this in the middle. Has anyone succesfully installed on of these on a car with a CDC classic sopiler?
