Well, I just picked up the car from having the strips put on (3M vinyl). I think the color combo of the Windveil Blue with Autumn Gold looks AWESOME!!

now for the bad news.... I found out that my car, whichI bought used with 26K miles on it, does not have the factory bumper on it and is an aftermarket that was never properly prepped for paint..... so, when the installer put the stripes on the front bumper and then tried to pull it back off to reposition it.. THE PAINT CAME OFF ON THE STRIPE!! He won't finish the bumper untilI either get it stripped and repainted PROPERLY or get a factory take-off. He isn't gonna charge any additional...he just doesn't want his reputation tarnished by someone seeing shotty work. So what I have is from lower back bumper to front of the hood completed but the front bumper is not....

How much? Did you provide stripes?

it was $480 andI provided just the car. installer used 3M vinyl and because it was done through the Ford dealer it has a 1 year warranty.

Good deal. That's about what Fast Signs wanted but including the removal of my old stripes.

You know, it actually looks kind of cool. Definitly different, that's for sure. I'd like to see some more pics, maybe some from a little farther away so I can take it all in.

Funny you mentioned them..I just ordered a take-off this afternoon!! Bodyshops wanted anywhere from $450 to $700 to remove my cover, strip it, prep, paint and re-install. newtakeoff.com was $199 plus $85 shipping cost. No brainer!!! Should be here Saturday....

that wouldnt be my first choice in color but it looks better than i thought it would. How much space is between the stripes? I know the factory gt500 stripes are gapped at 2in. Those look a little closer. I paid $100 to have mine installed at a graphics shop. it was the first set of stripes he'd done on a new mustang, he said the next set he was charging $250 Congrats on your new appearance mod. Just like any visual upgrade, i am sure it makes you just want to go drive around for now reason
