Default Dash Kits

Hey guys.

I would like to install a Carbon Fiber dash kit, but currently have the brushed aluminum panels (see pic)on the upper part of the dash that came with the car.

My question is, will the dash kits cover this or will I need to remove and if I need to remove it, how hard is that to do?

Thanks in advance

The kit I bought just wentbelow the brushed aluminum on the dash. I don't know how difficult taking that off would be.

I'm not sure, but I think that part might actually be a part of the dash...
