Default Brake Rotors and Calipers

I have a 06 GT, 20 inch wheels, Im looking for some new rotors. Not looking to spend 2 grand on brembo but still want to look good. Also right now i have painted my calipers but they keep chipping. Anyone sell powder coated calipers or recommend anything else?

I want new rotors too. I was looking at some on ebay but do not know if it is a good a idea to get them there as far as reliability.

buy some gt500 take offs, they are brembos and can be bought relatively cheap for a big brake kit.

Try www.dicbrakesrus.com They have powdercoated calipers available for the GT. They also have 6 piston brembo kits available - for $3,500!

If you are looking for looks then the drilled rotors are nice and with 20" rims there is a lot to see. I went ahead and upgraded to 14" Baer brakes with front calipers and 14" rear rotors which use the stock caliper and a reloaction bracket. Now BAER does sell a 14" kit for the front that use the stock calipers as well but it is still $700 and the rear is about the same. I wanted performance brakes for future track use but really the rear upgrade to 14" was all show as a big rotor with a standard caliper is not the best way and the stock rears would have been good enough.

There is a write-up on the GT500 conversion for the GT in this months
MMustangs&FastFords or MMustangs&Fords.
I get both mags at the same time and cant remember which one.

Just make sure you give them from a company and not just some seller.

My rotors are made by EBC, slotted and dimpled.
