Default Hood Scoop

im thinking about adding a hood scoop to my v6 stang. Should i get a stick on or do you think is should be drilled?????

For just about every other stick on appearance mod I would say can just use 3m tape, with the amount of air coming over the hood in direct contact with a scoop I would say drill it to be safe.

Bolt on will insure that it will stay where you put it. Mine came with 2 plastic pins in the front that were suppose to hold with clips and tape on the side. I modifided it to use 4 stainless steel bolts and tape all the way around. Passed the 100 + mph tset with no problem.

I seriously doubt the Roush scoop would stay on with tape alone.

that thing is an air trap and lifts up on the front even when bolted in.

I hated mine, it's a plastic POS.
