I have the redlines Darkness7 and no issues and love the look and drilling a couple of holes in fiberglass is worrisome for most but I had no problem....measure 2 times and drill once! We have the same hood and all Cervinis hoods can use the Redlines. If worried about drilling go with the MRT's and no drilling required! Later J

The redlines used to get in the way but Redline changed the setup to the way it is now and I have not had any issues. Besides if the clearance is not enough to work on the car from the side you can remove the clips and have someone remove the hood or hold the hood higher to get the work done.... My whipple was installed with them on and he did many things from the drivers side fender and no space issues.....hope it helps

Do redline hood struts stay at half open? Like where you open the hood it stays?

I went with the MRT's. Got them in today and installed a few minutes ago. Check 'em out! Why I didn't do this along time ago I don't know...

Funny you mention that Darkness...... it was one of the very first mods after the bodykit, exhaust, and rims and tires that I installed myself...... never looked back. enjoy the struts!
