Ive been thinking about different looks for my car recently and I realized that I am getting pretty bored with the way the back of my car looks right now. Since the front is taken care of and just waiting for me in michigan, Im trying to do what little mods I can. I think the stripe just is too wide for the car and I really like the look of blackout panels on our cars but i was curious to know if anyone had any pics of a blackout panel on a black car.

Keep it as is!!!!!! I love the stripe and the look ...it matches the wide tires...flows well and once you get to MI....we can go out and take pics like you have with snick!

I dont know what it is about the back of my car but something just doesnt look......."right" to me. I cant figure out what it is. Maybe I need to blackout my tailights or somethin.

Good eye. I kept it for a few reasons. Plates and insurance is crazy in out here cause everyone sucks at drivin. That and I would have lost my insurance through meemic and blue cross if I changed my ID over

And not that I race alot but I took down a 3000gt the other night and it was sooo awesome.

My alloy is pretty dark and I wanted to do something about the boring look. I decided on the SHR honeycomb since it maintains the overall dark appearance but adds some texture. Here's a before and after...

3000GT or VR4? The VR4 is the twin turbo AWD 300-320HP. The 3000GT is FWD 222HP. Bothcars are 6s. So the Q is could you hear turbos!? Haha. I have a FWD 3000GT that's going to get an engine swap/conversion to a RWD 440. When time allows.

Personally, with the car being black, I don't think matte would do too much to "spice" it up. I like the honeycomb because it adds texture.

I think some tailight tint would rock with either.
