So for Christmas I tried to get my parents to get me a CAI and tune but they said they won't pay for performance parts because they think I don't need anymore power. Instead they said they'd pay for racing stripes, they ended up only pitching in $250. So it's kinda a present I guess.

tell them that its for better gas mileage...thats what i did on my other mustang

Thanks, the stripes were supposed to be 12" but they're 11.5" because apparently the right opening on my hood is 11.5" and the left is 12". I think the gap is 2".

I do need some rims but I need to get the CAI and tune first cause I've already spent too much money on appearance. And being in college my income right now is all of $0. Birthday money that was being saved for the CAI paid for the stripes so I'm hoping I get enough money for Christmas to get close to the CAI.
