Default The blackout continues...

Still looking to stay busy during the holidays. Here's my latest project - blackout of the trunk emblem. Does it go well with the front blackout (grill, pony, etc.)?

I like the rear blackout, looks very clean and sharp. Not a fan of the painted horse though. The fogs look out of place with the horse blacked out IMO.

I taped off the center, scuffed the rest, cleaned it with lacquer thinner, and sprayed it with Duplicolor Ford black. Simple.

Nice. Leave it on the car when you did it?

Nope. Use a rag and a screwdriver to pry the thing up from the trunk lid. If you're lucky (I was) it will come up and leave the adhesive behind. I put it on the workbench on a piece of newspaper and went at it.
