Lightbulb UPR shifter Bezel?

Anyone ever install one? Is it as easy as placing it on the shifter Bezel, Drilling the holes, and screwinging it down. Did you do it in place?

Got one for x-mas and plan to install it soon.

Im surprised these dont just attach to the edge of the shifter boot that overlaps the center console.

I installed this last year. I aligned and marked the boot in place then drilled the holes in place also because some of them did go through the console. I did remove the shifter handle to make this a little easier. It has held up great and still looks awesome.
